8 year child having tooth pain and gum swellling ... she has allergy to augmentine dds but still dentist gqve her amoxicillin ... can i give her taxim 100mg tablet  instead of amoxicillin?.. will taxim tablet work on  abscess gum infection.?.. please advice

Ma'am kindly consult with same dentist bcz in dental procedure amoxycillin is advisable. Also if child is allergic with amoxycillin May be he is allergic to others medicine also!
