Hello there. I can understand your concern. Alcohol is the root cause of many problems but if a person wants to quit alcohol he has to be willing and motivated to quit alcohol. That is what is done in de-addiction centres where thiusands of people have same problem. There are medicines which will help him in quitting alcohol but for that the patient has to come or be brought to the de-addiction centre. Talk to him and the other elders at home and take a step.
