What should be the adequate amount of milk to be fed to a newborn of 25 days? And how is it decided how to increase the quantity gradually?

Feeding is on demand.. whatever baby demands, has to be given.. usually a 25day old should take 50-60ml each feed.. but exact volume as per the baby. With good feeds baby will sleep for 2-3hours. Pass urine every 3-4hr.

You have feed the child on one side of the breast for atleast 30 -40 min . Burp for 20 minutes post feed. If the child is sleeping for 2 hrs post feeds, passing urine 7-8 times a day and passing stools adequately then your amount of milk is adequate.
