It could be sinusitis if there is yellow or greenish discharge. Then he would need antibiotics. Pls consult for detailed history and medicines

Thanks for your question.It seems due to nasal allergy with suspected nasopharyngeal adenoids if not anything else(to be confirmed by physical examination and investigation as well).But this should be confirmed first then can be treated accordingly.If this is because of acute onset and with yellowish or greenish nasal discharge then better not to use metaspray,needs evaluation then diagnosis then to comment on this finally.Also if at all it is enlarged adenoids ,we have to exclude its effects.For the time being can continue normal saline nasal spary and nasal topical decongestant with oral antiallergic.

Nasal secretions are part of allergy and adenoid hypertrophy also could be because of this. Meta spray along with saline spray and decongestant will help
