Hi, I am 35 week pregnant, baby is in breech position. Growth scan is normal. Is it safe to try acupuncture and moxa at week 35 of pregnancy to turn breech baby to head down position? Best Regards.

At 35 weeks there is still time for your baby to turn on their own, many breech babies do by 36 to 37 weeks. Moxibustion and acupuncture are generally considered safe in pregnancy when done by a trained practitioner, and some women find them helpful, but the evidence that they reliably turn a breech baby is mixed and not strong.
Next Steps
The option with stronger evidence is external cephalic version, where a doctor manually tries to turn the baby around 36 to 37 weeks. Please consult your obstetrician about both options and your delivery plan at your next visit.
Health Tips
Avoid acupuncture or moxa without your obstetrician's go-ahead, since certain pressure points are usually avoided in pregnancy.
