Hi doctor , please advise. While doing Work out ( Squats ) , My husband felt bit pain in knee after 2-3 days increased in month of Sep . Done PT for 3-4 days and stopped. Later on pain decreased. And whenever he walks or run he is having mild pain and from yesterday pain bit increased. We have done MRI. Kindly advise if surgery is the only option please. We are worried. Impression from MRI :- -Mild subcutaneous edema of the knee in the medical aspect. -marrow contusions in medical tribal and femoral condyles. -mild degree of degenerative tricompartmental osteo-arthritis. -minimal degree of joint effusion. -Partial thickness tear of distal one third of acl. -mild buckling of pcl. -horizontal tear of the posterior horn of the medial meniscus.
