Acidity and indigestion

I am having acidity issues where my heart burns sometimes, there is always a lump in my throat where i keep feeling to clear my throat and one of my nostrils is always blocked and i am not able to get normal stools as well. Doctor told me it's purely acidity but their med doesn't help much. Note: i don't consume tea. Kindly suggest
