I am having diabetes part 1 and half year. Recently I checked my hba1c was 9.0 does this is bad for health?

Yes. The target hba1c should be below 7. There are higher chances of diabetic complications occurring earlier at your level of hba1c. You will need a revision of medicines and diet.
