For the blood CBC report it appears like a viral dengue fever.
Low Platelets, low WBC Lymphocytes, borderline elevated RBC and near border elevating hematocrit.
Also your symptoms of body ache, fever with chills is supporting the diagnosis.
For now you can go with symptomatic management:-
- Maintian adequate hydration, drinking water, coconut water, ORS or any other forms of Fluids
- Take proper rest, light small meals throughout the day
- For symptoms of body pain and fever you can take T.DOLO 650mg upto maximum 4 times a day, continue it for maximum 3 days, till the symptom gets relieved
- Any new symptoms of nausea or vomiting, dizziness, fainting episodes, abdomen pain, reduced volume during urination inspite drinking adequate fluids, any bleeding from gums, redness in eyes, fever of more than 100°F or inspite of the temperature reading, sever symptoms affecting your daily activities, visit a nearby clinic or hospital.
Next Steps
If symptoms worsen, go for a dengue test immediately:- If fever is for less than 4 days Dengue NS1 Antigen, and a fever of more than it, Dengue Ig G an Ig M antibody testing with NS1 Antigen.
Also repeat a CBC irrespective of your symptoms, after 3 days of the last CBC to look out for any significant changes which might be concerning.
