Please visit a dentist as soon as possible for correct diagnosis and treatment. You are already suffering for a week, don't prolong it any more. It is difficult to tell the exact problem without checking it clinically.  Do not take any medication on your own.

Jaw swelling could be due to many reasons like infection, etc. It needs to be properly investigated especially when there is an ulcer. Please don’t self medicate yourself.

Always consult the dentist prior to medication. Swelling is often a sign of infection.
