Please post the clinical picture of the affected area for a more rational opinion from our side. A detailed clinical history will also be required regarding any medications that you have been using or oral habits like tobacco in any form. Till then, the only conservative suggestion that can be given is to maintain good oral hygiene including cleaning of the tongue with your toothbrush only and avoiding the use of tongue cleaners. Maintaining a good level of hydration and using antiseptic mouthwashes containing chlorhexidine gluconate twice a day will be recommended. Regards.
