My daughter is 4.5 years old . From last 3 days she rub her eyes and water came and itching also . I have noticed dark circles also . She doesn't use mobile . Only tv she watches but only 1.5 hrs .

There can be two reasons mostly 1. Eye is allergic and child has severe itching. 2. If the child doesnt see properly, he/she tries to see properly by rubbing eye. This needs proper dilated retinoscopy checkup. Both these causes needs hospital checkup. Better find a centre with pediatric ophthalmologist.

At this age, eye rubbing with watering and itching is most commonly due to allergic conjunctivitis. Dark circles can be related to eye rubbing and nasal allergies and are usually not due to screen use—especially since her TV time is limited.
