My wife is currently 24 weeks pregnant (LMP: 31 Dec 2025). Until around 23 weeks, all scans including the previous anomaly scan were reported as normal. At 23–24 weeks, she developed vaginal bleeding and was diagnosed with: - Confirmed PPROM (Preterm Premature Rupture of Membranes) - Severe oligohydramnios/anhydramnios (AFI initially almost nil, later 4 cm, currently 3.2 cm) - Placenta was initially reported low-lying; latest scan shows placental edge 2.37 cm from the internal os - Fetal heart rate currently around 161 bpm - Fetal movements are good - No maternal fever, chills, or foul-smelling discharge She is admitted in a government hospital and receiving IV antibiotics and supportive treatment.
