2 years old itching her bum and fever
My 2 yrs old was itching her bum so much last night and since 2 pm she is running a fever. I was planning to give her zentel 10 ml tonight. But now she has fever. What to do. Also for 2 years old zentel 10 ml has to be given as single dose?

For a 2-year-old:
✔ Albendazole 200 mg single dose

If your syrup is:

• If she has completed 2 years → 400 mg (10 ml) single dose is acceptable
⚠ Important:
Repeat the same dose after 2 weeks to prevent reinfection.

Treat all family members simultaneously.

Night-time itching around the anus in a child strongly suggests pinworm infestation (Enterobius vermicularis). Fever, however, is not typical of pinworms and may be due to a separate viral illness.
Fever likely unrelated. Treat fever, give Zentel 5 ml, repeat after 2 weeks, and follow hygiene measures to stop reinfection.
