I'm 15 weeks pregnant and been itching all over the body for the past few days. The itching is mild but constant. No rashes and it's not concentrated in any particular area, it's travelling all over. It's discomforting enough to keep me up at the night and bother me during the day. Urine and bowel movement are normal. I've applied coconut oil and ice etc. But it's not helping much. Is this something to worry about? Is there a lotion I can apply or a pill I can pop to relieve myself of the itching?

Consult a dermatologist for precise diagnosis as to whats the cause of itching. For now you cn use calamine lotion for local application. Accordingly further management cn be given

In some patients during pregnancy it is happening.This is due to stasis of bile after compression of food pipe due to enlarged uterus.Get done liver function test.After reports contact to gynaecologist or me through practo online.
