In my 11 weeks ultrasound it is saying posterior low lying placenta end is reaching to the internal os. What does it means ?? Is it a matter of concern ? What precautions should i take

It means placenta is low lying It shud migrate up by 22 weeks Till then avoid pelvic jerk No sex n travelling

Generally the placenta migrates upwards as pregnancy progresses . But in any case one needs to ascertain whether or not there is any past history of child loss due to os incompetence. Hence a consultation with a qualified ObGyn doctor is very essential here for a successful outcome of pregnancy.
