Last month on 2.4.22 my wife underwent Ultrasound whole abdomen and result was "Hyperechoic calculus in mid left ureter measuring ~ 4-5 mm in mean size causing mild left hydroureteronephrosis".
Yesterday on 31.4.22 she underwent NCCT KUB and result was mild Hyperechoic calculus in lower left ureter measuring ~ 10.2 mm in mean size and there is also associated left perinephric and periureteric fat stranding.
My concern in why difference in stone size, when two different test was conducted on merely gap of 1 month only. Does this difference comes when done using USG and NCCT??
Please help in clarify with your expert advice.
Thanks in advance
