Allergic to antibiotic
Allergic to cephalosporin and neomycin, soframycin . Can I take mupirocin ?

Mupirocin is a separate group - plus it is an antibiotic THAT IS ONLY TO BE APPLIED AND NOT BE TAKEN ORALLY. Just apply over a small area and see if you are definitively allergic to it or not. Allergy to mupirocin is not very common. However, like in your case, allergy to multiple antibiotics may rarely occur in some individuals. Warm regards, Dr Govind Suresh Mittal, Bengaluru
