Acute Pancreatitis and drinking
I had an attack of Acute Pancreatitis last Sept from binge drinking. I was in hospital for two days, told to eat low fat and stop drinking alcohol for 6 months but not given much info. I have been drinking heavily again and not felt any negative effects, can I resume life as normal or is this dangerous?

Hello! With details provided I assume you are chronic alcoholic due to which acute pancreatitis precipitated. I am sure hospital must have warned you regarding future drinking. Binge drinking is common cause of acute pancreatitis and it can occur any time again. You should try to discourage your drinking. In normal life alcohol should not be there.
