Acute bilary pancreatitis
I had severe pain on 30 september after 4months of normal delivery. It use to go on and off in those four months but i ignored it, thonking it might be post delivery pain. Hence didnot go to doctor. Then, on end of september , i had imense pain and i fainted. I was admitted in icu; as i was diagnosed with ascites, gallstones, pancreatitis and fatty liver. For those 15 to 22 days i was given iv fluids through central line. Doctors said after my pancreas are not swollen any more, they will operate and take the gallblader out. Recently , on 18 december , i got a ct scan and i have no stone, but still pancreas is 3*3 cm large. What should i do?

Pl get MRCP done to rule out gall stones and state of pancreas post pancreatitis.. If gall stones present and pancreas is ok...u shd go ahead with laparoscopic cholecystectomy to prevent further attacks of pancreatitis
