1. Well there is the medical therapy: which includes a mixture of creams and oral medicines depending on the type of acne you have(there are grades of acne vulgaris). And there are procedures like the chemical peels and microneedle RF that can do wonders for the scars if done at the right time under the proper guidance. 2. The time needed varies according to the grade of your acne vulgaris. Every body is different and thus we have to take into account your body's response towards the therpy given. Again giving an exact number is difficult especially since I haven't examined your skin. But remember no matter what time, you can definitely get clear skin with proper treatment. 3. Cost wise? If you ask me it depends from doctor to doctor. But before analysing all of the above factors by yourself , you need to visit a dermatologist near you. That will give you an exact answer to all your above questions! There are no formulaes here. Your treatment (time and cost) will vary depending on the severity of your acne and your severity can de determined only after thorough examination by a dermatologist.
