Acne for 5 Years
I've been having acne since 5 years and i am 21 years old now.To make things clear i have to say that i visited 4 dermatologists in these 4 years and none of them worked for me.I have researched a lot on the internet and almost tried all the solutions and nothing worked.I am an IT undergraduate and i am planning to go to the US so i need help badly. My acne is not severe but it covers both my cheek areas and nose so it appears very red. I read a lot on the internet and i consider myself adequately knowledgeable about the physiology of the facial skin and specifically sebaceous glands. So after consulting 4 dermatologists i am still having acne and none really helped whatsoever so i stopped all the medication for an year and went clean with proper diet, exercise considering all my food allergies.I stopped eating diary in any form as it is aggravating acne but it was really difficult because in India we have milk byproducts in almost everything we eat. I really appreciate help or discussion

Hi...... Wash problem areas with a gentle cleanser. Twice a day, use your hands to wash your face with a mild soap and warm water.... Avoid certain products, such as facial scrubs, astringents and masks, because they tend to irritate skin, which can worsen acne. Excessive washing and scrubbing also can irritate skin..... Avoid irritants. You may want to avoid oily or greasy cosmetics, sunscreens....Don't pick or squeeze blemishes. Doing so can cause infection or scarring. Consult Dermatologist...
