Hello there. I can understand your concern. Would like to know since how many days have you been taking pantoprazole? This is not a permanent solution. If its been too long, Consult a gastroenterologist, get a endoscopy done and do life style modifications. Certain foods you must avoid. If you keep having oily, spicy foods there is no use. Have 5 smaller meals a day rather than 3 large meals. Make vegetables and fruits a part of atleast 2 small meals. Drink lots of water. Avoid smoking and alcohol. If you are overweight, you will have to lose weight. According to a recent study, pantoprazole shouldn't be taken for more than 15 days at a stretch. If you are continuously on antacids, you will suffer from a lot of nutritional deficiencies and other problems. Consult a gastroenterologist in this regards and tell him that you are fed up of taking pantoprazole or other antacids. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain.

Hi there... only medications will not help you. You have to modify your lifestyle also. Try having frequent short meals 4-5per day, instead 3 big meals. Completely avoid spicy and outside junk food. Start doing yoga and meditation. And regarding medications, kindly consult a gastroenterologist. He might even suggest an endoscopy because of the chronic course of the disease.
