AC and Cold
Could you tell me the precautions to get used to AC for 3 years old. We recently bought an AC, he got cold and cough when we started using it. How to make his health adjustable to this air conditioner. I'm afraid, if we leave AC temperature as it is..it might causes severe lung related diseases. However We are not sure . Presently we are setting AC to only 26 degrees

The airconditioner also dehumidifies the room, which has affected your infant's sensitive nasal airways to get congested and have a runny nose. Get a rubber nasal aspirator to suck out his nasal secretions and also nebulising with saline would also help.

It is unlikely that AC is the cause for cold and cough in your kid. Probably he has got viral upper respiratory tract infection which is a common type of throat and nose infection in children. You may need to give him simple anti cold medicines
Next Steps
Consult nearby Paediatrician for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
