Pregnancy happens when the sperms meet an egg ( Ovum ) which is released in the women's body......while sperms are released at every act of sex, the ovum release happens once a month..............The day of this ovum release is NOT known to anyone unless one does tests like sonography......The voum released has a life of 24-48 hours, and the chance of pregnancy will be there if unfortunately the condom tear has happened at ovulation time and if sperms have spilled in the vagina...... Since we dont have information about your cycles and when this event occurred, we cannot comment on the probability of pregnancy. If less then 72 hours have happened since this incident, you cans afely meet a gynecologist and get emergency contraceptive pills which will prevent pregnancy if it were to happen. But since you are newly married and NOT intending to get pregnant soon, you may also ask the gynec for guidance about how to prevent pregnancy.!!!!

Hi there...I can understand your concern. But it is difficult to with this little information, if she can get pregnant. Detailed history like, her menstrual cycles regularity, when was her last menstrual bleeding and when is the next expected cycle, will have to looked into. If it's been 1 week since the intercourse or she has missed her cycle,, ask her to take a urine pregnancy test and consult a obstetrician for further evaluation.
