I had an RCT and permanent filling 2days back and doctor took around 4000 rs.. now my question is that the permanent filling he has done is just applying some mixture a paste type material and he has not used any UV light? is it really a permanent filling?

Trusting your dentist is the most important apart from treatment. Material used by your dentist must be a permanent filling and the reason being that temporary filling will only increase risk of treatment failure which he will not do. UV light is used for composites which is another type of filling and there are various other type of permanent filling. So no worries. Regards
