About menstruation
M asking this on behalf of my frnd.Her partner fingered her vagina on 18th jan.she hd her period from 8-15jan.now its 10th feb.she did nt gt her periods till now.she is feeling some cramps in stomach n uneasy also.she has also done some heavy exercise lst 2-3 days fr dance.can this cause pregnancy?

Hi, In a normal menstrual cycle, a balance between the hormones estrogen and progesterone regulates the buildup of the lining of the uterus (endometrium), which is shed during menstruation. If a hormone imbalance occurs, it results in menstrual irregularities. Periods can be delayed for a single cycle or it can be delayed in every cycle. If the delay is in only a single cycle, the most likely cause is a temporary cause like stress. Consult Gynecologist for further advice....
