About medicines for diabetic neuropathy
I am diagnosed with diabetes since 21 years. Three years ago I started feeling numbness and prickling sensations in feet while sleeping at night. I started regularly Gabapin ME. It cured sensations. My question is, for how many years should I take? My NAV test 8 month ago did not show much to worry. Even if I stop medicine, it does not restart numbness or prickling sensations. My question is, Can I reduce or stop Gabapin ME? Is diabetic neuropathy a progressive disease or does it go away on its own? I am taking Gabapin 100 since 10 days. Can I stop it altogether if no symptoms are felt? Thanks for your valued opinion.

It will not go away. But no any authentic treatment is there as sugar damaged the nerve. You can start cap nervez one at night for long time. U can stop gabapentin. Try to control diabetes. Regular with HBA1C. Take care of your feet very carefully.
