My doctor have prescribed me dutastride 0.5mg tablets daily for my hairfall.after nearly a month on this drug my hairfall is increased rather than decreasing can i switch to finasteride 1mg from dutasteride as it is approved by fda or it will make situation worse??

Tablets that you have mentioned above all need to be taken under supervision after the Dermatologist having reviewed your condition. These medicines although seem harmless are all prescription medications since the dose and the method with which you take them all need to be monitored and a non Medico cannot do that. To avoid side effects and to get the best results visit your dermatologist again and discuss the probable causes of your rebound hair fall . That will benefit you more .
