About fetal growth
Hello Doctor, I am pregnant and just completed 29 weeks yesterday. I am diabetic and on glycomet 850. The fetal weight is 1.16 kg. Is it too low? If so what can I do for gaining fetal weight?

Fetal weight increases in third trimester. Diabetic mothers have a tendency for big babies when they do not keep sugar in control. This causes difficulty in labour. Please keep your sugar in tight control. Regular diet will increase fetal weight in the coming weeks.
