Abnormalities in iron studies
My mother (aged 53 yrs) is suffering with weakness and hence doctor asked to do cbc and iron studies. Her iron studies shows that Iron 49, TIBC 399 and saturation iron calculation 12.2 %. Her platelet count is elevated with elevated esr. Any thing serious about this result?
