A white spot in throat
I smoke once in a week...I have a small white spot that appeared on my throat...I don't have ear pain, no cough except for once or twice a day, no difficulty swallowing, no Persistent soar throat...what could be the reason for the one white spot in my throat?

Hi. The white spot could be collected food debris in your tonsil. Or could be an early infection. It would be better if you could see an ENT specialist in-person, or share a picture/video of the throat and consult online.  Warm regards, Dr. Aanchal, Therapeia centre, Bangalore

Mat be you are suffering from Keratosis of tonsil. Tonsillar keratosis is characterized by appearance of white projections from cryptal orifices of the tonsil, lymph follicles, the posterior and the lateral pharyngeal walls, posterior part of the tongue and glosso-epiglottic fold. It happens due to Chronic tonsillitis.
