71Y lady knee pain & swelling legs
Vara lakshmi, my mother aged 71y, can not walk easily and since three years she complains Knee pain and slowly legs are swelling. Her BP and Sugar levels are controlled with drugs. Even thyroid was shown normal at previous test. Hat tests need to done now or revise her present drugs or physiotherapy need to be done at home at regular. Please suggest....

There is no relation between Bp,sugar and her knee pains ..We need to look for cause of knee pain,check her weight if she is over weight or she is mostly sedentary because of her knee pain ..Suggest her to practice knee strengthening exercises and walking at comfortable distance as she likes or pain doesn't hurt much..

avoid sitting on floor stair climbing,elevste the legs while sleeping ,use hot water fermentation for few days till pain gets control
