Dear sir
My daughter initially has been facing running nose and cough problem from last 3 days .I have consulted a doctor who suggested me
1.Nasoclear drops
2. Drop Maxtra .75 ml - 8 hourly for 5 days
3. Drop ascoril ls .75 ml -8 hourly for 5 days
4. Drop crocin 1ml 6 hourly SOS
Last Evening she had 100 fever , I have her crocin at 8 30 pm , 2 30 AM and 8 30 am, but I have not given her Maxtra and Ascoril LS thinking they are antibiotics and not needed.
I have searched on net as well somewhere it is mentioned that they are not antibodiotics and sfae .
Please suggest shall I give these medicines . Are they safe or can they be avoided?
Regards

None of these medications are antibiotics and can be given safely in infants in prescribed doses. Since these medications work in combination to resolve the symptoms you need to follow doctor instructions
