3 month old baby cough and cold
My 3 month old baby has been suffering from cold and cough.
Coughing occasionally continue 1 episode for 20-30 seconds.
I feel scared.
Doctor give antibiotic drop cephalexin and synarist drop.
Today is third day.
Is there any alternative way to suppress cough and cold bcz in this age medicine I don't want to give him.
How long should I continue these medicine. Or I should stop.
Need advice pls

Use 3%Normal Saline nebulisation 3ml every 6th hourly for 5 days
Nasoclear nasal drops 1 drop each nose every 6th hourly for 5 days.
