3.2 yr old kid suffering from Squint
Hello doc, Our daughter amrutha(3.2 yrs, born in 30 th week preterm delivery) is having squint since 1.5 yrs and she is currently on patch treatment daily for 2 hrs. Initially we could find the difference but we couldn't continue to keep the patch. Now since 1 month we are keeping the patch daily and slight improvement can be seen. But we would like to know if any further exercises or anything can be suggested for faster improvement. Thanks in advance.

Hello A.  Patching is advised to prevent amblyopia. Because squint at this young age is a risk factor for amblyopia... Patching will prevent amblyopia B. Regarding treatment.... Treatment depends on type and amount of squint. It is very difficult to comment without examining her. Kindly share photos of her eyes and case file so that I may guide you better Regards
