"Retina detachment surgery"
Last month I had cataract surgery done that is Right eye Phaco + anterior vitrectomy. One small piece of cataract dropped into vitreous PPV + secondary IOL it was ok and recovering day by day around 80% was ok but all of a sudden from 2days eye become blurry & half of the portion covered with shadow with some 1-2 floater. Now my query is what is the time limit to do surgery because I am in abroad my visa is expired it will take another week to get & also i need book flight it will another one week whether can i wait for two weeks? or need to do here only?

Hi... The prognosis is always better if this is done asap...so see how you can work that out .

Hello, You will have to go for the check up and treatment wherever you are immediately. Prognosis is better if done quickly. Do not wait. Looks like you are retaining central portion of vision, if it should not worsen do not wait two weeks, immediately get it rectified, treatment options vary depending on your retina and extent of detachment.
