Accidental corrosive ingestion on 05 June 2026. Hospitalized and underwent upper GI endoscopy. Report showed Esophageal corrosive injury with gastroduodenal erosions. Also treated for electrolyte imbalance and metabolic acidosis during hospitalization. Recovery after corrosive ingestion (Zargar Grade IIA esophageal injury) – diet, nausea, and follow-up advice

I would advise to undergo repeat UGI endoscopy after 6-8weeks to reassess. Recovery depends on what findings we see.
