Dr. Sanjoy Basu Is Presently A Consultant Gastroenterologist And Hepatologist At Manipal Hospital, Mukundapur With A Specialization In Advanced Interventional Endoscopy.Post Completion Of MBBS Course In India, Dr. Basu Worked Towards Post-Graduate Medical Diploma MRCP (Membership Of The Royal Colleges Of Physicians) At London And Edinburgh Which Was Successfully Accomplished In 2011.More Recently He Has Been Elected To The Fellowship Of The Royal College Of Physicians Of Edinburgh (FRCP).Prior To His Present Position, Dr. Basu Served As A Specialist Registrar In Gastroenterology In London From 2008 To 2012.Dr. Basu Is Fully Trained In Capsule Endoscopy And BRAVO Technique. He Has Earned Certification From The UK-Based Joint Advisory Group (JAG) On Diagnostic And Therapuetic GI Endoscopy. He Also Has Expertise In Diagnostic Elastography (Fibroscan) For Which He Has Received International Certification From Ecosense (Paris).He Is Also Proficient In Endosonography.Dr. Basu Has Extensive Experience In Treating A Wide Range Of Gastroenterological Conditions Such As Peptic Ulcer Disease, Non-Ulcer Dyspepsia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome And Inflammatory Bowel Disease. As A Hepatologist He Also Has Sound Knowledge In The Treatment Of Hepato-Biliary Disease Such As Viral Hepatitis, NAFLD And Alcoholic Liver Disease.
