I am a clinical hematologist and hemato-oncologist, and have a special interest in acute lymphoblastic leukemia and chronic myeloid leukemia. My area of expertise also includes sickle cell disease, thalassemia and bone marrow (stem cell) transplant.I treat various benign haematological diseases like different types of anemia, bleeding & clotting disorders, myeloproliferative & myelodysplastic syndromes and all haematological cancer types like leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. Stem cell transplant for various benign and malignant haematological disorders I am certified in clinical hematology, hematological oncology, internal medicine and stem cell transplant. I received an undergraduate degree from the University of Nagpur and an Internal Medicine degree in Mumbai. I completed post-doctoral training in hematology & hemato-oncology from Institute of Hematology and Transfusion Medicine (IHTM) Kolkata. Thereafter I pursued fellowship in stem cell transplant from a prestigious stem cell transplant centre in Canada. I have worked with eminent haematologists and stem cell transplant experts in India at C.M.C. Vellore, Mumbai, Kolkata and abroad.I am a member of many professional organizations including, the American Society of Hematology, British Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Indian Society of Hematology and Blood transfusion. I also have a number of publications in international and national indexed journals.
