Dr. Arvinder Singh Bhatia

Dr. A.S.Bhatia is the only trained sports medicine specialist in the tricity. He has undergone a special course in this field from Sports Authority of India (SAI), New Delhi and has undergone a special course in sports team physician under the ages is of International Federation of Sports Medicine( IFSM). A former consultant to Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) for the U-19 Indian cricket team training camp of NCA (National Cricket Academy) organized under the ages is of BCCI. Also, a former consultant to Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association (CLTA) and visiting the orthopedic and arthroscopic surgeon to Eden Hospital, Mayo Hospital, Dhanwantry Hospital. Dr. A.S. Bhatia is the Orthopaedic Surgeon to introduce vide-arthroscopy (key–hole/ minimal invasive) surgery of the knee in this part of the country in the year 1995.
