Dr. Jasmeet Singh Ahluwalia

The only board-certified Bariatric & Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon in the region. After passing his MS Surgery from GMC, Patiala, he went on to train in advanced laparoscopy from the known name in this field – Dr. Palanivelu C. at GEM Hospital, Coimbatore. He cleared his FNB-Minimal Access Surgery under him and also published three papers during that tenure. Later he worked as Consultant Bariatric, Diabetic and Laparoscopic Surgeon at Vikram Hospital, Bangalore.But to have multi-national experience in his field, he later joined an international fellowship in Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery abroad during that period which he published 4 papers and co-authored 3 book chapters. With all this experience he chose to come back to the place he belongs to – the city beautiful – Jalandhar.
