All over the world, saline and silicone implants are widely used and in some countries, composite filler implants are banned. Saline implants are made of the elastomer silicone shell and filled with the saline [sterile water]. This saline is either prefilled or filled at the time of operation. In silicone gel implants, the elastomer silicone shell is filled with the viscous silicone gel.
