Dr. Latika Uppal

Dr. Latika Uppal is a paediatrician and neonatologist in Amritsar with 17 years of practice. She has trained as senior resident in paediatrics at Hindu Rao Hospital, Delhi, and ESIC Model Hospital, Ludhiana, and as an NNF fellow in neonatology at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana.She completed her MBBS at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, in 2009 as a gold medallist and distinction holder, a Diploma in Child Health at Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Ambala, in 2011, her MD in Paediatrics at Maharishi Markandeshwar Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Mullana, in 2014, and a Fellowship in Neonatology at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, in 2016. She is registered with the Delhi Medical Council and the Punjab Medical Council and is a member of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics and the National Neonatology Forum. She stood third in the ISHBT national haematology quiz at PGIMER, Chandigarh, has presented award papers at IAP and FAOPS conferences, and has published in the Journal of Tropical Pediatrics among other journals.She consults in English.
