After the surgery, we are asked to sit outside while the guidelines and post-treatment instructions are explained on the TV. This process takes around 30–35 minutes. After that, we are given medicines and advised to have ice cream.
By this time, we have already spent around 40–45 minutes after the surgery, and then the patient has to spend additional time going to get the medicines and ice cream.
I would also like to mention that the doctor personally explained all the necessary guidelines and post-treatment instructions to us after the patient had some time to relax, which was very helpful and reassuring.
I would like to suggest having a small post-surgery recovery room with 2–3 comfortable seats, along with a medical store within the facility. It would also be helpful if ice cream could be served there after surgery. Since there may be some blood loss during the procedure, having something sweet immediately available could help the patient feel less weak.
Additionally, if medically appropriate, the first dose of the prescribed medicine could be given at the facility itself. This would make the entire post-surgery process more convenient, comfortable, and efficient for the patient.
Dr. Pranav N Shah leads an extraordinary team and provided a perfect diagnosis with a personal touch. The clinic is well-equipped, clean, and the fees are reasonable. I was amazed by the successful cure within a day and will not go elsewhere for dental treatment.
