Dr. Bohra Usha Shravan

Dr. Bohra Usha Shravan is an obstetrician and gynaecologist in Ahmedabad with 35 years of practice. She is consultant at Apollo Hospitals, Ahmedabad, in Bhat, specialising in high-risk pregnancy and gynaecological cancer surgery, after training in Dublin as registrar and specialist registrar at the National Maternity Hospital, assistant master at Coombe Women's Hospital and clinical lecturer at the Royal College of Surgeons.She completed her MBBS at Rajasthan University in 1987 and her MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the same university in 1991. She has been registered with the Gujarat Medical Council since 2004 and is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the Association of Gynaecological Oncology, the Indian Association of Gynaecological Endoscopists, FOGSI, the Indian Association of Cervical Pathologists and Colposcopists and the South Asian Cervical Cancer Vaccine Expert Forum. She received a gold medal for active management of labour from the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society, Dublin, in 2007, the Chikitsa Ratan Award in 2007 and the Godrej Sakhi No 1 Award in 2007.Her work covers high-risk and complicated pregnancies including pregnancy with PCOD, antenatal care, care from adolescence to menopause including amenorrhoea, endometriosis and adenomyosis, laparoscopic gynaecology and endoscopy, fertility-conserving procedures and medical termination of pregnancy.
