Dr. Ruchi Kabara

After doing MBBS (Gold medalist), Dr. Ruchi Kabra did MS (OPHTHALMOLOGY) from S.M.S Medical College, Jaipur in 2005. Then she worked as a fellow for 8 months in Cataract and Phaco surgery at Lions Karnavati Eye hospital, Ahmedabad. She pursued her interest in Occuloplasty and did a fellowship from Nagri Eye Research Foundation, Ahmedabad in 2007.Henceforth, in 2008 joined as an Assistant Professor in M&J Western Regional Institute of Ophthalmology , B J Medical College, Ahmedabad. Here she gained lots of clinical experience and surgical expertise in doing Cataract, Lacrimal, Occuloplasty , Orbital surgeries, Trauma, Aesthetics and in dealing with Ocular Oncology cases. In 2014, she did an observership at Shankar Netralaya, Chennai in Paediatric Ophthalmology so as to strengthen her Paediatric patient management. In December 2016, DR. Ruchi Kabra joined Centre For Sight, Ahmedabad and would be now working here in her quest to treat patients better.She has been invited as a guest speaker and have a number of talks and video presentations at state and national level conferences. Her work has also been published in indexed national and international journals.
