Dr. Abhishek Gohel

Dr. Abhishek Gohel is a neurologist and epileptologist in Ahmedabad with focused training in drug-resistant epilepsy, video EEG, SEEG, epilepsy surgery evaluation, neuromodulation, and intraoperative neurophysiology. He practices at KD Hospital, Ahmedabad, where he co-established an epilepsy surgery program.He completed DM Neurology from NIMHANS, Bengaluru, followed by a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Epilepsy from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi. His clinical work focuses on epilepsy, difficult-to-control seizures, status epilepticus, critical care neurology, and advanced neurodiagnostic evaluation.Dr. Gohel has authored 9 research papers and 1 book chapter, and has presented academic work at national neurology and epilepsy forums. He was All India Rank 4 in the NIMHANS DM Neurology entrance examination.
