Endocrine & Thyroid Care Centre is the first endocrine surgery super speciality clinic in the Kanyakumari district started on 23rd April 2021. Dr Rakesh Chandru K is the proprietor of this clinic and he is the first qualified Endocrine Surgeon and an active practitioner in the Southern districts (Tirunelveli, Tuticorin, Kanyakumari) of Tamilnadu. He had his basic surgical training (MS) from Government Stanley Medical College, Chennai. He has completed super speciality training in Endocrine Surgery (Mch) from the prestigious Madras Medical College which is one of the two training centres for Endocrine surgery in South India, the other being CMC, Vellore. He has extensive experience in dealing with Endocrine disorders of the thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, pancreas, and multiple endocrine neoplasia syndromes. He is specialized in performing complicated thyroid and parathyroid surgeries. He has got various publications in the field of Endocrine surgery in indexed medical journals.
