Visited Dr. S.R.Shreenivas (General Physician) For Sore Throat

I do not recommend the doctor

He examined me for less than a minute *** ********** *** ***** ****** ********** I came to know through another doctor that such medicines were not at all required for a simple throat infection. I developed fever, skin redness, drowsiness, body and knee pain. It took 10 days to cure.

Dr. S.R.Shreenivas replied

The duration required by the doctor to diagnose based on the complaint of the patient differs from doctor to doctor and also the doctors' experience in seeing such patients. As for the medicines concerned- the response to the drugs differs from patient to patient and u are clearly instructed in your prescription to stop the drugs immediately and report to the doctor. As the initial disease picture when u were treated differs from the one after u had taken medication, the other doctor could have felt so..... I also don't indulge in professional jousting as i am sorry to say some of my professional colleagues do and try to earn good name from the patient seeking second opinion.... this should also be taken into consideration. Thank u for ur time taken for review.
